Our friend and podcast co-host Monisha Rios needs help to accommodate her disabilities and fund her mutual aid project in San Juan, PR, which helps folks from the nearby island of Vieques and Culebra travel to receive medical care, as they have no hospital of their own. Her home is the project itself and has seen better days following huge amounts of storm damage, including Hurricane Maria. Like many of us have experienced, her ailments have gotten worse and require accommodations to fit her condition, which have made repairing the home and keeping it maintained all but impossible.
